Abbey Lynn Ceramics

Welcome to my shop! I’m Abbey, the artist behind Abbey Lynn Ceramics.

From kindergarten salt dough masterpieces to dollhouse miniatures out of modeling clay, I have enjoyed working with clay for as long as I can remember!

I saw my first ceramic studio in high school and fell in love. Playing with mud and fire- what could be more fun? It ignited a passion in me that has failed to dim out in my heart, even after spending some years away from the clay to build a career and raise my family. Eventually the call grew loud again and I decided it was time to introduce my kids to my love of ceramics, enrolling us in a class and instantly rekindling my love of creating with clay.

For me, clay is therapy. I love that I can start with mud from the earth and with my heart and hands create a piece limited only by my imagination. Clay's transformative properties allow for not only form and function, but to convey energy and emotion, to give joy and create a connection. 

My art is inspired by the natural world around us and all the animals that exist within it. There is an intrinsic connection between us that my pieces pay tribute to.

I hope my pieces bring a little whimsical nature into your life and remind you to slow down, be present… enjoy the here and now.
